Welcome to the Zen Group newsletter for May 19 2015.
As I look outside this morning and see the rain and clouds offering us much needed water; I am thankful for all the gifts that Mother Nature provides. Connecting to the earth and nature’s cycles are such a part of a balanced and healthy life A few days ago was the new Moon, a great time to let go, and now the moon is waxing. The waxing moon is a great time to draw things in, create what it is calling to you from your heart and soul.
What is it that you would like to create?
Mercury is also heading into retrograde; often times this will bring challenges unexpected. Remember this is just part of the cycles of the earth, the solar system, the universe, and ourselves.
In this newsletter, we will speak a little bit of the things that we have been up to and what is coming in the next few weeks. We will touch on the concept of “Badges of Honor” and how they affect our daily lives. There is also a link to a few photos from the past few weeks as well.
Remember to check the calendar for a list of our upcoming events and community events as well.
ZenSpirt is holding Reiki Clinics on weekends, alternating Saturdays and Sundays (be sure to check our calendar or facebook page for specific details). Last Sunday we had many visitors and very spirited conversations. We are so happy to be able to open Reiki to the community, offering the gifts that we have to help bring consciousness and healing to our community. We are also holding a Reiki Level l class on May 31st; if you have been interested in learning Reiki and discovering just what energy healing can do, this is for you.
Here is a link to some thoughts about the “Badges of Honor” that exert such control and drawing so much energy in our daily lives..
Reno is surely becoming an art town. For me that brings up so many photographic possibilities, the theater, art openings, and many local festivals not to mention Art Town just around the corner. We are truly blessed to have so many wonderfully inspiring events.
