Quiet Your Mind

Overthinking a problem is not the key to any door. Take a few breaths to still your inner chatter. Let yourself just “be” for a while.

We can be our own worst enemy at times. Be mindful of your thoughts and actions. Pause before you make any major decisions. Taking things personal could derail you and throw you off course. Positivity goes a long way. Apply affirmations when necessary to keep you on track. Louis Hay has great affirmations!

See Your Emotions as Teachers

Emotions can be vehicles for transformation. Whether joyous or challenging, they can teach you how to overcome fear and cultivate compassion.

This is a great card! In fact the author of these cards has amazing books on this very topic. I recommend the book “Emotional Freedom.” Observe your emotions and the behavior that follows. Do you stuff your emotions by emotionally eating or deny your feelings all together? Your feelings just want to be felt. Don’t be a slave to your emotions.

Let Go of Being a Martyr

Find a balance between giving and receiving. It is not healthy to give so much that you feel ill or exhausted.

So many of us give way more than we receive back. A healthy balance of giving and receiving can help sustain healthy relationships. If you are feeling used and unappreciated, then you are most likely giving too much and you may need to pull back. The same goes for receiving, it may be time to give back in some way. Acts of kindness are always fun so get creative!
